Cordwick is at pilot stage. Nothing here has been manufactured yet.

Cordwick Signal · HVAC health monitor · in development

Look beyond
the thermostat.

HVAC monitoring in development to give service professionals a clearer record of equipment calls, temperatures and changes in electrical load.

Context at the equipment

The temperature in a room is one observation. What the equipment was doing is another. Signal is being designed to help your contractor connect those details.

01

Observe the operating signals

The current electronics read equipment calls, temperature probes and current-sensor inputs locally. Those observations provide context for service.

02

Keep service in the design

The new enclosure is being developed with access to connectors, sensor harnesses and service controls. Its cover has a simpler, finished appearance.

03

Build a useful record

Connected delivery and contractor notifications are part of the development work. They are not available features of the current local prototype.

Where the design stands.

Local sensing has a reviewed bench prototype. The commercial enclosure, field installation, connected service and remote alert delivery remain in development.

Good questions.

Does Signal control my equipment?

Signal observes dedicated signals. Ease is the smart thermostat; Signal is not a replacement for equipment controls or protective devices.

Can my contractor receive alerts today?

Remote delivery and notifications are still being developed. Current monitoring electronics read signals locally.

Do I need to replace my thermostat?

Signal is being designed as an equipment-side product with its own sensors. An actual installation requires a contractor to assess power, wiring, equipment and sensor locations.
