Cordwick Renew · Refillable drain care system · in development
A reservoir
you refill.
A refillable condensate drain-care appliance in development, with a reusable removable reservoir and no proprietary cartridge authentication.
Follow the development
Refillable drain care
Keep the reservoir. Choose a suitable treatment with your contractor. The new Renew design makes refillability, cleaning and service access part of ownership from the start.
Refill without an entitlement check
No branded cartridge code, bottle chip, QR activation or paid refill unlock. Compatible fluid choices will be documented by their material and operating requirements.
A bottle you can remove
The design uses a reusable wide-mouth reservoir, removable for filling and cleaning. Refilling partway is supported in the new control software.
Replace the wear parts
The fluid path is being designed around replaceable pump tubing, accessible wet areas and separate attention to leaks and high water.
Where the design stands.
The new refill-control software has host tests for partial refills, retained dosing limits and fault handling. The commercial circuit, physical fluid path, calibrated dosing and treatment performance remain under development. Renew is NOT A SHUTOFF.
Good questions.
Can I refill it with my own treatment?
That is a core design requirement. A treatment must be compatible with the reservoir, tubing and HVAC installation, and its instructions must support the intended use. There will be no proprietary cartridge entitlement check.
Does refillable mean any liquid is suitable?
No. Refill access and fluid suitability are different questions. Chemical compatibility, concentration, viscosity and dosing must be established. Do not mix treatments or assume a household liquid is suitable.
Does a refill reset the dosing allowance?
The new control software retains the dosing allowance through partial refills, reservoir removal and restart. A refill also does not clear a recorded fault.
Will it clear an existing blocked drain?
Automatic dispensing is not proof that a blockage has cleared. Have an active backup assessed and follow the equipment and treatment instructions.
